sarah middleton-lee consultant & writer - aids and community development
I am an independent consultant based in the UK, with 20 years of experience. I support organisations - working in the fields of HIV, gender, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and maternal and child health - at the global level, in developing countries and in my local city of Brighton. I work with a variety of institutions, including international NGOs and networks, community groups, funding mechanisms and United Nations agencies.
My particular interests include:

• Promoting the needs and role of civil society, key populations and women
and girls within national and global responses to HIV and SRHR.
• Promoting good practice - particularly gender transformative and human
rights-based approaches - in programmes and policies on HIV and SRHR.
• Promoting linkages between HIV and other areas of health, particularly SRHR
and maternal and child health.
